Windows:

1. Check if 'KAYA Instruments Service' present in the Services Control Manager

2. If the KAYA Instruments Service is absent in Services, you need to manually register it by using the KYService_register.bat file in 'C:\Program Files\KAYA Instruments\Common\bin\' (run as an administrator)
3. If the 'KAYA Instruments Service' appears in Services but not running, start it by clicking the run button:

4. If the service stops shortly after you try to start it, please check if the path to the executable is correct by following the instructions from this knowledgebase article
5. If none of the above solves the problem, please collect and send us all the logs from the KAYA log folder and installation logs that you can find under 'C:\Program Files\KAYA Instruments\Log\Installer'

Linux:

In terminal use command:

sudo systemctl restart kaya_daemon
