Unsupported hardware issue for Windows 7 OS and Vision Point 2019.1 version
Last Updated 3 years ago

For Windows OS to support the latest version of Vision Point, please make sure your Windows is up to date and all the latest updates and hotfixes are installed.

Please Make sure that your computer hardware supports Microsoft latest updates by following the step related to your case:
  1. Update your OS using Windows update center (repeat several times until there are no new updates available)
  2. If an "Unsupported hardware" pop-up window appears, there is an incompatibility between the processor and the OS, which occurred because Microsoft has stopped supporting Windows 7 OS on new hardware. You can refer to this link for more detailed information
  3. If the pop-up window doesn't appear, please try to download and install the latest Windows 7 VGA drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's site.
  4. If the described above didn't help and your computer hardware does not support Windows 7 latest updates, please consider using Vision Point 4.4.0 software version.
  5. To downgrade Vision Point application from version 2019.1 to 4.4.0, please refer to this knowledge base article.
Please note that Vision Point 2019.1 will be the last version to support Windows 7 OS. We encourage our customers to switch to Windows 10 OS to support our latest updates and fixes.
