Frequently Asked Question

1. Open services and access KAYA instrument service properties. This option can be under:
"Computer Management" -> Services -> "KAYA Instruments Service" -> properties -> "Startup type".

2. The correct path to the executable should be {Vision Point installation folder}\common\bin\KYService.exe, NOT KYService.exe (without full path).
Note: {Vision Point installation folder} represents user's installation folder name. The default path is "C:\Program Files\KAYA Instruments".

3. In case the "Path to executable" is KYService.exe (without the full path) then:

1. Open {Vision Point installation folder}\common\bin\
2. Run as Administrator KYService_stop.bat
3. Run as Administrator KYService_unregister.bat
4. Run as Administrator KYService_register.bat
5. Run as Administrator KYService_start.bat
6. Check that path is now correct and service is running
